Announcing The Triple Jam: A New Playground for Long-form Improv in Oxford!

The Triple Jam, a bold new long-form improv jam is starting in Oxford!

This jam is designed for improvisers of all experience levels, from seasoned veterans to curious newcomers.

We recognize the need for a space that bridges the gap between classes and shows. Often, beginner improvisers want a space to develop their skills before performing, whereas more experienced improvisers find themselves in a cycle of learning and performing, with little opportunity to simply play and connect with others. The Triple Jam addresses this by providing a supportive environment where improvisers can let loose, try out new ideas, and hone their skills without the pressure of a formal performance.

The night will include:

1. Warm-Ups: We kick off the evening with fun, easy-to-play warm-up games that are designed to get everyone laughing, moving, and ready to improvise. No prior experience is necessary!

2. Long-Form Scenes: For those with experience in long-form improv, this is the moment to shine! Participants will have the opportunity to explore characters, patterns, and connections in a supportive environment. Whether you’re looking to develop a new character or experiment with narrative structures, this phase is all about creativity and collaboration.

3. Guest Performance: To top off the night, we will feature a long-form performance by a guest group. Let’s see what improv can do!
